How LNAD+ fits into your detox plan

What the published study found

A randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled study published in GeroScience examined five days of oral LNAD+ in healthy adults aged 45–75. Sixty participants were randomized, with 50 included in the primary analysis.

By day six, the researchers reported a 53% increase in whole-blood intracellular NAD versus placebo, without a significant difference in plasma NAD. The measurements primarily reflected NAD in red blood cells. The authors reported favorable short-term tolerability in this study.

What the results mean

This was a short study of biological response. It did not establish improved alcohol or opioid withdrawal outcomes, reduced cravings, or long-term recovery benefits. Clinical benefits and longer-term safety require further study and replication.

The study was funded by Bryleos, and several authors disclosed company affiliations or financial interests. We share the paper so you can review both the findings and their limitations.
